Director of Advocacy
Deborah Corcoran
Former preschool teacher joined React19 following family members’ vaccine injuries.
Deborah started her affiliation with React19 in February 2022. As a preschool teacher and former elementary school teacher, she drew on her teaching, collaboration and community building skills to help parents navigate the very difficult task of getting help for their children. She has run an online support group to meet the needs of both the parents and children.
Deborah struggled with her own health, suffering from symptoms related to Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). After seeing her loved ones injured by the vaccine, she felt compelled to help them by joining the React19 team as a parent liaison.
Living in Virginia with close proximity to DC, she has participated in many advocacy events through React19, including speaking with congressmen to emphasize the needs of the injured, particularly children. As she got more involved with React19, Deborah left her teaching job to take on the role of Director of Advocacy.
She is the mother of 3 adult children. Deborah enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly with family at the beach where she grew in NY. She enjoys reading, cooking healthy meals, and has recently taken up organic gardening.
