Dr. Mobeen Syed is a physician, software engineer, and globally recognized medical educator with a passion for making complex medical science understandable and actionable. He earned his MD from King Edward Medical College and later completed a Master’s in Computer Science. After practicing and teaching medicine, he moved to the U.S., where he merged his dual expertise in medicine and technology to create innovative, multimedia approaches to medical education.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Syed meticulously reviewed over 10,000 scientific studies and presented nearly 1,000 of them on topics such as COVID-19, Long COVID, and post-vaccine syndromes—focusing on pathogenesis, clinical patterns, and evolving interventions. Through his YouTube channel, his lectures have been viewed for nearly a billion minutes, earning a global audience of healthcare professionals, students, and the general public.
An accomplished medical illustrator, Dr. Syed has drawn over 40,000 diagrams since 2020 to visually demystify immunology, virology, and inflammation. His work continues to support patients, clinicians, and researchers seeking clarity amid evolving science.
