RECOGNITION

  • Early Recognition leads to
  • Early Intervention which leads to
  • drastically Better Clinical Outcomes.

Early intervention with any new medical event is key, vaccine injury is no different. Dr. Avindra Nath at the NIH has described the importance of early recognition and intervention specifically with vaccine reactions.

Outside of the injured community, React19 continues to seek official recognition of Covid-19 vaccine injuries. Such recognition is critical to unlock access to healthcare services, possible financial support, workplace accommodations, and disability benefits. On Capitol Hill, React19 continues to advocate for the creation of a unique ICD-10 medical diagnosis code for Covid-19 vaccine injuries. A separate code already exists with the WHO, and has been proven to improve diagnosis and treatment, promote research, and better inform future vaccine injury public health policy.

RESEARCH

Until the mechanisms behind Covid-19 vaccine injuries are identified and understood, a cure will never materialize. For this reason, React19 is actively involved in numerous research initiatives such as an extensive audit of the Vaccine Adverse Recording System (VAERS) and an IRB-approved vaccine-injured patient-led research collaborative with the University of Maryland. In addition, React19 members participated in Yale’s groundbreaking “Listen to Immune, Symptom, and Treatment Experiences Now” (LISTEN) Study amongst others.

COMPENSATION

Under current US law, Americans severely injured by the Covid-19 vaccines are not only precluded from suing pharmaceutical manufacturers directly but are also ineligible to seek relief in the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP), leaving the American taxpayer to pick up the tab. Covid vaccine injuries can only seek restitution in the inefficient Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program (CICP).

The CICP has numerous fundamental flaws

  • filing deadline of one year

  • no legal representation allowed

  • no fair or timely judicial review

  • No pain and suffering award

  • Only award for out of pocket medical expenses and lost wages up to a cap of $50,000.

Awards from the US Government

  • 30 Claims awarded for Covid vaccine injury
  • 10,651 cases remain to be reviewed
  • A 98% rejection rate

Awards from React19

  • Awarded over 150 cases totaling $1.2 million.
  • Has 7 applications on a waitlist
  • A 90% approval rate

"From the very first moment I found your organization, it has been the force propelling me towards recovery. Finding React19 has in effect saved my life."

CARE FUND

To fill the void left by the Federal government’s ineptitude, React19 created the CARE Fund intending to provide immediate financial relief directly to the injured. Upon providing documentation of financial need and medical evidence of a Covid-19 vaccine injury, applicants are eligible to apply for a medical grant to cover the cost of past and future medical visits, testing, and treatment.

By donating to React19’s CARE Fund, you too can be that force and perhaps save a life in the process.
