ACIP Vaccine Injury Hearing Cancelled. Podcast Has It Instead!

This week, the CDC's ACIP, vaccine advisory committee, was scheduled to formally address COVID vaccine injuries for the first time. A federal judge stopped that from happening.

So the Why Should I Trust You? podcast held the conversation that ACIP never got to have. They brought in the injured. They brought in the scientists. They brought in the doctors. This is what should have been on the table in Washington this week:

DR. KIRK MILHOAN - ACIP Chair,

(but joined the podcast in his individual capacity, NOT in his professional capacity), on what the impact of the ACIP cancellation:

"It's really heartbreaking for us, because we were hoping to be able to discuss the real harms that have happened to people post-vaccine… not just harmed in a temporary way, but in a chronic way. Many people took this product for societal reasons, to benefit the good of all."

He described a planned transparency framework, nearly 80 data points, that would have told the public exactly what we know and what we don't know about every vaccine's risk-benefit ratio. A methodology built to restore trust.

That meeting never happened. Dr. Milhoan called it what it is: abandonment.

Yale Immunologist researching Long COVID and COVID vaccine injuries

"There is no ICD-10 code, there is no clinical definition, there is no recognition of these diseases. And that's why it's really hard to come up with a prevalence of how many people have these things."

Dr. Iwasaki studies post-vaccine syndrome at Yale. She is pro-vaccine. She is pro-truth, and she came on this show to say: these people are real, their suffering is real, and calls for medical coding and definitions.

THE COVID VACCINE INJURED

🔹 Daniel King - Active-duty military. He didn't have the luxury of hesitation. His story, told in a recorded voice clip. Now left with neuropathic symptoms, and severe pain.

🔹 John West - A federal employee who was mandated. He experienced clotting and pulmonary embolism after J&J. This process, he has lost all trust in the system. 

🔹 Jane Rioseco - A Portland local, she got vaccinated. Her health fell apart with POTS and autonomic dysfunction. "I have been on a long journey to find doctors and healthcare practitioners who are listening to me, who are taking this seriously."

All three patients were told, in one way or another: "It's just in your head."  

DR. AKIKO IWASAKI

- touched on the difficulties of researching this.

"For some reason, it's been difficult to get these post-vaccination syndrome papers published… I don't think it's a coincidence, because I publish a lot of papers. When we submit similar quality papers on Long COVID or effectiveness of vaccines, I don't have so much difficulty getting those published."

She has been called irresponsible simply for asking what might be causing post-vaccine syndrome, because of fear her findings could be used to fuel vaccine hesitancy.

"I think it's important for us to recognize that there are folks, whether it's Long COVID or post-vaccine syndrome, that are living with these issues that, quite frankly, the science is not fully clear."

Nothing changes until we're willing to have this conversation.
