Roman Astree (Laurie Kumontis, mom) - FATALITY – Heart and Organ Damage

Roman passed away within 48 hours of his 2nd dose of Pfizer, less than a week after he graduated high school. He played trombone in his award winning high school marching band, ran a gaming server and had a thriving gaming youtube channel. The only warning was a stomach ache and chest pain. By the time he arrived at the hospital his heart had failed and his organs were failing. After no response to the VAERS filing nor the CICP application, his mother Lauree will come to Washington DC to share her struggle to find answers. In her words, “I said I am not anti-vax, but I want the world to know that my 18 year old son passed away 2 days after the vaccine.”

Andre Cherry - DISABLED - Neurologic Issues: Tremors, Dystonia, Flaccid Paralysis, Bilateral Ballismus, Vocalizations, and Limited Mobility

2 hours after his second shot, his left arm started to tremor uncontrollably and he took some Tylenol, rested and the tremor stopped momentarily. They returned, and where then in both arms and eventually in both legs as well. His symptoms worsened and he became more debilitated. Andre is now confined to a wheelchair requiring 24/7 supervision due to the severity of his episodes. Medical care and financial support are extremely limited as this once healthy and vibrant college student is now completely dependent on others and his condition continues to decline.

Drew Jameson - DISABLED - Army Veteran - Guillain-Barre Syndrome, full body paralysis, now wheelchair bound.

A dedicated U.S. military veteran, served with the Minnesota National Guard and was deployed to Iraq. His commitment to service was cut short by severe health issues following his second Pfizer mRNA vaccine dose in 2021, which led to a diagnosis of Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS). The vaccine injury left him with paralysis, a coma, and extensive neuropathy, dramatically altering his life.
Now an advocate for vaccine injury awareness, Drew shares his recovery journey on social media, highlighting the challenges of rehabilitation and the bureaucratic obstacles in receiving adequate care. His fight is not just for personal recovery but also for recognition and support for those similarly affected by vaccine mandates, pushing for transparency and better policies within the military and beyond.

Dr. Nikki Holland DISABLED - Respiratory Issues, Tracheostomy, Partial Paralysis, Neuromyopathy

Nikki was a healthy, active single mom of three who was a professor, athletic trainer and prior to injury was practicing as a physical therapist in the home health setting.  Within a week of her 2nd Moderna shot she was hospitalized due to respiratory failure so severe she had to be placed on a ventilator.  Her condition declined and led to blood clots, airway spasms, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, GI complications, bladder dysfunction, and neuromuscular impairments.  This resulted in her needing a wheelchair, relying on a feeding tube and tracheostomy. She has been life flighted seven times and had 11 hospital stays. Now disabled, she has replaced her steady income that she needed to provide for her three children with medical bills that failed to bring any answers. Over two and half years later, answers are beginning to come with a diagnoses of autonomic dysfunction and CIDP (chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy) a permanent condition requiring medication that costs hundreds of thousands of dollars

WAITING FOR CONFIRMATION - Emma Burkey DISABLED - Stroke, paralysis, traumatic brain injury.

Emma Burkey was a vibrant, healthy 18-year-old who had a 4.4 GPA, worked multiple jobs, and was passionate about helping others. She eagerly anticipated a trip to Hawaii to celebrate her high school graduation and attending college in the fall. But everything changed after receiving the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on March 20, 2021. Within days, Emma experienced severe symptoms, including nausea, rapid heart rate, and headaches, followed by a devastating brain bleed and multiple seizures. She was diagnosed with cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) and required three brain surgeries, but her doctors received no guidance from J&J or the CDC on how to treat her. After being transferred to Loma Linda University, Emma faced a long and uncertain battle, eventually waking up to show signs of awareness but remained largely unresponsive. She was left a quadriplegic, with limited ability to move and requiring intense therapy. Now 19, Emma continues to fight through countless hours of physical and occupational therapy, facing a future far from the college life, trip to Hawaii, and family she dreamed of.
