What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was already a long hauler from a COVID infection in March 2020. Despite that, I was able to make myself breakfast and tea, water my plants, and go for short walks between 10-30 minutes a few times per week. I could drive myself to my own medical appointments.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I became progressively worse each week following the vaccine, until peaking at 6 weeks, by which point I could no longer walk or stand. I required a wheelchair from then on, and have been bed bound since. I need food and water brought to me in bed and assistance with everything.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I was diagnosed with POTS and drinking salt water has helped my symptoms slightly. Avoiding exertion and staying in bed.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Exercise, PT, yoga, traumatizing doctor appointments, a second shot of Pfizer, Patterson protocol.

What would you like others to know?

I reported my adverse event to Pfizer and there was an investigation into my case. They decided my reaction was unrelated to the vaccine due to “insufficient evidence”. I couldn’t get my doctor to acknowledge I had been injured and no tests were run other than basic labs and EKG, which were normal. I’ve since found a new doctor but it really bothers me that Pfizer won’t acknowledge my injury.
