What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Less worried!! I am just waiting for the next odd symptoms to surface!!

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I work for the goverment and had to take the vaccine to not loose my job. The day I got the vaccine, within 30 minutes of the vaccine my arm hurt really bad. Three (3) hours after the vaccine I felt woozy and shaky and knew something bad was coming. 30-minates after that I could really feel the fever coming on along with severe weakness and went straight to bed. The fever kept increasing and with severe shakes most of the night and an extreme headache/migraine. This was far beyond any migraine I had experienced in my life. So bad I wanted to go to the hospital but didn't because of the financial repercussions. My head hurt so bad I couldn't even stop myself from crying. All my joins hurt including my hips --- they felt like someone was applying crushing pressure. Needless to say I was not able to sleep and around 4:30am I took my temperature again and it had dropped down to 101 degrees; symptoms began to reduce and I was finally able to sleep.

I had a non-stop migraine for the following 4 days. Then 1-2 days of no headache and then they returned again for a few days. This lasted for about 10 days.

Three (3) weeks exactly after the shot I suddenly began bleeding HEAVY from my bladder. I bled for 5 days and then it suddenly stop. I was subjected to numerous exams and no one had an answer for me.

Then one month after that incident, I started to bleeding/heavy spotting vaginally for entire MONTH!! I am 50yrs and went into early menopause 6yrs prior. I had not bought a box of tampons in as many years either!!

Today (a little more than 6 months post vaccine) I feel like I am back to normal ---- been doing everything I can to "detox" --- but the fear is with me. What will happen next that I don't know about!!!

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

There was nothing to help the bleeding stop, but at least for migraines, it was over the counter Excedrin, lots of Hot Yoga to sweat it out, and increased my vitamin C intake.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Urologist --- when I mention if this could be a side effect from the vaccine, he couldn't get rid of me fast enough!!! It was a horrible experience and completely unhelpful.

What would you like others to know?

The possible side effect of taking the vaccine and the need to find a doctor that is willing accept symptoms could be tied to the Covid vaccine, and not dismiss their patients without taking any further precautions for other possible effects.
