What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was basically fine. I was in my earlier 60s and some joint issues, knees, hips stuff you get from working out your whole life. I have allergies and some asthma that can pop up from time to time. Also, sometimes annoying and/or irritating tinnitus, especially in my left ear. Even though I work out, I tend to be slightly chubby in the belly. but I had energy to get everything I wanted to done, go out, etc ...

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I have record of some minor arrythmia from a few days after my first dose, from my Samsung watch. I did high intensity workouts, and there wasn't really any problem at that time.

This I can't really remember, but I think it might have happened a week before I got the final booster on 11/17/21 I was cooking dinner and had heart flutters that caused me to stop cooking and lay down for a few minutes.

Then the night after I got the booster, I woke up in the middle of the night with an intense sharp headache and my heart raced for about a minute and the everything settled down.

Then on 12/1/21 I had a sharp pain in my chest for a few minutes, and from that time I have had soreness in my center and/or center right portion of my chest ever since of varying degree. I may have had another one of these in December or 21.

I went on throughout the rest of December and January without much incident, although with the chest pain which was mostly minor and some arrythmia which I captured with my watch. My motto with working out was to push my way through it, although I did lighten up for a while.

We get into February 2022 I started working out harder and about the middle of the third week of this month I woke up with extreme heart flutters with some pain and have had these symptoms almost daily ever since. I had another chest pain attack at the end of March. But since then just a sore chest and flutters.

These flutters, which I've come to believe or atrial flutters perhaps with SVR or slow ventricular response at the very least may be fleeting without much sensation in my chest, but always reverberating on in my right ear, which can keep me up all night. At the very worst they flutter rapid fire with every heartbeat. Like a half a dozen or more rapid fire flutters with every heart beat. With these I can feel my heart torquing in my chest. Sometimes one of these burst will sustain itself causing the rest of the heart to miss some beats, or occasionally it will kick the overall heartrate up momentarily.

I never went to the hospital cause I didn't feel my life was threatened, and I have an old dog that I really don't have anyone to take care of for very long. My girl friend was busy with her Dad and his heart problems and I was afraid if I boarded my dog she may not make it cause she is pretty frail and couldn't stand the thought of her dying like that.

In mid May I finally went to my GP and then to a cardiologist. When I'd go see them, my heart would behave for the ECG, even though one time I had been up all night with flutters. The Cardiologist put me on Flecainide which helps, but has side effects. I went to an electrophysiologist who said I should be able to get used to it, but offered to put me on an even more toxic drug Tikosyn. So, I am starting with another electrophysiologist, and we'll see where that gets me.

I can't claim definitively that the vaccine caused my problems. It seems different than what I hear for the most part. I know I didn't have any arrythmia issues before covid and the vaccines. The booster did make my heart race briefly. I am just looking for answers.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

A diet with more electrolytes, and some magnesium supplements, which also help with the sideeffects of the Flecainide. Along with the Magnesium, Tylenol PM can take the edge off the pain and help me sleep. I just started black seed oil capsules and we will see how that works.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Tumeric, Taurine, Barberry root bark Anti arrythmic drug verapamil

What would you like others to know?

At this point I'm looking for information. If you could help guide me to some answers, even if the answer is the vaccine didn't do it.
