What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

It was normal. I was a healthy active 57 year old woman. I hiked walked and worked out. Active. Fun. Busy. I went to the gym 3x a week for 25 years and was a hiker and walker. I love to travel and I paint and draw. I was healthy and had a full busy life. I had two homes in two states and loved live music, theatre, art museums and art classes. I had a busy social life.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Pfizer vaccines April 14th and May 4. My feet began tingling and burning. I attributed it to stress and walking two dogs I had just rescued. It progressed gradually but by July 3rd became unbearable. I realized it was neuropathy in both feet. I began to search for answers. I had a lymne’s disease test. It was negative. I also had severe crunching in my neck and back which has gotten progressively worse. I had acupuncture, massage, and began taking alpha Lipoic acid, said to be effective in managing neuropathy. Nothing helped. Updated: I had two Pfizer vaccines. March 14th and April 4th. Shortly after that my feet began tingling. It was gradual. By June they were burning and stinging and I was fatigued all the time. I realized it was neuropathy. I also developed upper back and neck inflammation and crunching. The worsening pain in my feet, chronic fatigue and discomfort in back was debilitating and I had a hard time managing my life.

I finally saw a neurologist Nov.3, 2021. He said he believed it was due to the vaccine. Meanwhile I suffered, could not sleep bc of neuropathy pain in my feet and weakness in my calves. I Cavan not eat carbs or sugar bc it flares my neuropathy.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I saw a neurologist in early November 2021 who said it was from the vaccine. He performed a nerve conduction test and said the nerves in my feet and calves were not functioning properly. I had an MRI which said I had osteoarthritis in my neck and upper back. My diagnosis is vaccine induced CIDP. I am receiving IVIG infusions and it is gradually helping my neuropathy. I’ve begun exercises for my neck and upper back. Updated: My neurologist diagnosed me with vaccine induced CIDP. I have had 4 IVIG doses over the last 4 months. Now my insurance does not want to pay. I am supposed to have more. The IVIG is helping but it is very gradual and I don’t know if I will ever fully recover.

What would you like others to know?

That the vaccine did indeed cause severe damage to me. Don’t take it. Don’t get the vaccine. It has destroyed my life. I’ve never been this sick for this long. It’s been a nightmare.
