What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Normal everyday life as a 5th grade school teacher
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Received the first Moderna shot on August 24, 2021 and several day later did not feel well. Consulted primary care physician and they did blood work and showed elevated iron levels in liver. Was told by Quin Kirk of Family practice Hughesville that it would be ok to get the second shot. On 9-21-2021 I received the second of the two Moderna vaccines and shortly after receiving the second shot was hospitalized at Geisinger medical Center Danville for acute liver injury and renal failure, decompensated cirrhosis due to autoimmune hepatitis and severe necrotizing myopathy. Christy was hospitalized from 12-07-2021 till her death on 1-4-2022
