I was recovering from surgery on my right arm before i was forced to receive the vaccine by the US military. I was able to take care of my kid all day long with no problems. I would go on short hikes (1 mile) until my back pain from a previous injury stopped me from going any further. I was slowly healing from this injury.

Here is my decent write up for more of a full story. Isaac’s Story: I am not ok. I will not be ok. After receiving the COVID-19 Vaccine I became ill with a nervous system disorder called Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS), a form of dysautonomia. It has destroyed my life. In October 2021, I was threatened by leadership 5 days before my surgery that if I did not get the Covid-19 vaccine I would be immediately terminated from PAY AND HEALTHCARE coverage. I was due to have surgery was on my right arm for the compartment syndrome injury I sustained while on deployment overseas in 2020. I was left with no choice as my surgery had an 8 to 12 week recovery time and I could not go without pay or insurance for that long with the cost of the surgery. So I compiled and received the first dose of the Moderna Vaccine 14 days or so after surgery as recommended by my doctor. The second dose came a little over a month later on the 3rd of December 2021. This is when I became very ill with my current nervous system disorder. I had no idea what was wrong with me. I went to the doctor a few times and started taking antibiotics as I thought it was a sinus infection. This did nothing. My symptoms got worse. I was tested for Covid multiple times all came back negative but had some of the symptoms. The worst of my symptoms, which began at the time of the 2nd dose of Moderna, was a heart rate of 120+ and climbing after standing up until I either pass out or sit back down. I quickly identified these symptoms and asked my cousin if her symptoms were similar, this is because my cousin was diagnosed with POTS a year prior after receiving the Moderna Vaccine. So I went to my VA doctor and asked her about this being a possibility and she said that she had never heard of this nervous system disorder. She sent me to cardiology where I had tests done and wore a heart monitor for 2 weeks to gather data. I finally got to see a Nurse Practitioner in cardiology who is knowledgeable and willing to research my case. On The 26th of November 2022 I received an email from the military that I was terminated from MEDCON orders (pay and healthcare) after pleading with my case manager that I am sick and do not have a diagnosis yet, but I am currently going to doctor appointments trying to figure it out. They don’t care. I was forced to go and buy my own Healthcare. Meanwhile my second daughter was born on March 15th and my relationship with my wife was not going well as my illness had consumed me. I was finally diagnosed with POTS on Mar 23, 2022 by my VA Nurse Practitioner. I got started on a BETA blocker medicine to lower my heart rate and it basically deleted me from being able to do anything. I pleaded with the military to put me back on MEDCON orders so I could get treatment and financially support my family as my wife could not work after just having a baby. They refused. I asked for incapacitation pay. They refused after I had resigned from my civilian job in December of 2021 due to a bulged disc in my back and continued nerve damage in my right arm (both sustained while on 2020 deployment). I was able to find a neurologist in May 2021 and he is very knowledgeable of my nervous system disorder and has confirmed my POTS syndrome was caused by the COVID-19 vaccine. I am currently unable to work and fighting for disability through the VA and social security system. I am usually a very private, introverted person but I cannot hold my silence any longer. Those who forced and encouraged the COVID-19 mandate need to be held accountable for their actions. I will not take the excuse of “I was just following orders”. The Nuremberg Trials prove that following orders does not make it right. There needs to be consequences for their actions. I have nothing to lose. I have no money. My credit score doesn't matter, medical bills can go to collections, they aren't going to get anything from me. I have everything I need; a house, a car, and 2 beautiful healthy non COVID vaccinated little girls. My family is trying to support me. The truth must be told. Change through knowledge is the only way forward. I will not stop. I cannot be stopped.
