What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was always fine no numbness and always normal bloodwork twice a year.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I was always fine and bloodwork normal 1/22/21 hemoglobin, hematocrit, WBC’s,RBC’s, were all normal. Started lowering 7/28/21 on verge of abnormal. As of 12/7/21 all test above abnormal and increasingly more abnormal after that. I was sent to a Hematologist for treatment by that time all bloodwork including iron and iron binding were dangerously abnormal. Finally 2 infusions with iron were given in 1/2023.

July of 2021 odd numbness of bottoms of feet started and grew to whole foot, then up legs to calf’s the fingertips felt numb the whole hand. Then up to elbows legs up to thighs. Then up legs to thighs. Now even face is numb along jaw line, chin and cheeks up to outside corners to eyes. Now I have numbness, burning prickling pain all over worse in hands and feet. Have trouble walking with feet numbness so use walker now. Hands are so painful with burning and prickling. Feels like touching cactus all over and hands. The fingers feel like frost bit. The feeling is gone in private area. Can’t feel myself pee so having problems with incontinence. If going owe on potty I have to listen to know when it’s time to wipe cause I have not feeling down there. Stings in private area. The thought of feeling like this the rest of my life is unbearable.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I use a hand warmer on hands to help frost bite feeling. Neurologist is giving me Gabapentin and increasing dose every two weeks. So far not helping at all. Wear diapers at bedtime and very thick poise pads during daytime due to no feeling incontinence.

So far Gabapentin not helping.
