What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was 74 years old with no health issues. No underlying medical problems--not high blood pressure, not diabetes, not heart disease--nothing. I took no drugs. I was active, alert and healthy.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Tinnitus began after 2nd moderna vaccine. First shot on 1/6/2021, with arm soreness, headache, and occasional tinnitus. 2nd Shot, sharted severe tinnitus. After a few months I also developed gastro-intestinal problems, severe exhaustion, lethargy and was unable to even walk a block or so without having to go home and go to bed. My life was changed. The inflammation was so severe that it affected all my organs. Culminating in diverticulitis in November, 2021 and I was hospitalized. I was on IV antiobiotics and a full course of antibiotics at home.

I still have tinnitus. I worked with a nutritionist (PhD in biohemical nutrition) and my energy is better, although not what it was. I use a pancreatic enzyme for digestion.

I do not take any medications. I swim 3x a week and try to stay active but I still feel the affects of the inflammation and often need to rest.

What would you like others to know?

Tinnitus doesn't mitigate with time after the vaccination as was originally thought. (I actually spoke/emailed with Dr. Gregory Poland at Mayo clinic who suffers from post-vaccine tinnitus.) He, along with all other medical professionals were adamant in their belief that the damage would subside. WRONG. My chiropractor who urged me to NOT get the vaccine when originally offered, has been proven correct.
