What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Active. Loved hiking and outdoor activities. I have a basement woodshop where I built cabinets and molding and other projects. I also painted pastel children’s portraits.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

4 days after vaccine I had pain and numbness that started in my feet and spread up legs to hands, arms, back and face. Had difficulty with balance. 2/7/21 was admitted to hospital and given spinal tap. Was given 5 day infusion of IVIG and sent home. Was better for 3 weeks but still had minor leg weakness and fatigue. Neuropathy came back and now almost 2 years later i can do very little, no woodwork or painting, i cannot take even a short walk. Tinnitus started about month 3 and ebbs and flows

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I am taking gabapentin 1800mg a day and that keeps the pain at bay but does not make me functional. I just started weekly IVIG two months ago and so far am not noticing any real improvement

Which solutions were not helpful?

Kefir Gluten free Sugar free Nicotinamide riboside
