What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was very strong and healthy. I was very vibrant and had a lot of energy. I was able to think clearly, and I was able to go to the gym and work out every day and lifting weights. I was active with my kids. And I was able to hold a full-time job.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Within one week of getting the shot, I started having severe epigastric pain. I started having diarrhea, and was unable to get out of bed for three weeks. The diarrhea lasted 6 to 8 weeks. And the fatigue became worse and worse. I had multiple days where I could not get out of bed. And the episodes made it hard for me to breathe because I was so weak. I’ve had bad days on and off for the last two years. I have to be careful about how much stress I put my body under if I want to avoid an episode of fatigue. The fatigue is not a sleepiness. It is physical fatigue, and I am unable to get up off the couch or out of bed when they occur. The epigastric pain lasted for about 4 to 5 months. When I finally was able to find a doctor, willing to do some test, they found that my liver was inflamed, my A1c and cholesterol had spiked. I am still having problems with my cholesterol two years later. It also put me into menopause. I have had severe anxiety since I received the shot. I finally had a nurse practitioner who was willing to listen to my story. She ended up diagnosing me with multi system Inflammatory Syndrome.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I have been using herbal medicine to recover. I have taken several rounds of ivermectin, which seems to have helped my symptoms. I have also been on Ashwaganda which has helped with the inflammation. I am still taking Ashwaganda two years later. The nurse practitioner who was willing to listen. Ran labs to help me figure out what was wrong with my body. We were then able to target my symptoms using those labs.

Which solutions were not helpful?

The doctors in America were not helpful. They did not do anything to intervene. They also did not believe me when I told them my symptoms. Not until I found the nurse practitioner who was willing to listen.
