What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I have thyroid disease, so tired fairly easily. But, I worked out at the gym, socialized, and was mentally sharp. Busy, productive life.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

At noon, 17 hours after my vaccine, I suddenly felt very tired. I lay down and went into a very deep sleep for 5 straight hours and had difficulty waking up. I then had nausea, headache, and extreme fatigue for the next two weeks. I had brain fog, fatigue, trouble waking up, and memory problems for the next five months. I still have slight memory issues and have trouble with tripping on my right side. I also get overwhelmed very easily.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Lots of rest and brain exercises helped the brain fog, but it did not start to improve until after my second Pfizer vaccine on Sept. 2, 2021. Yoga is helping with the tripping. Avoiding stress.

Which solutions were not helpful?

There weren’t any really effective solutions.

What would you like others to know?

The vaccine gave me some of the same symptoms as “Long COVID”. After about 30 minutes after my second Pfizer vaccine, I had shooting pains up the back of my neck and head. Then the pains shot down my chest. Only lasted a few minutes, then I had extreme fatigue for an hour. I then felt better and could think more clearly after this. Helped lift my brain fog.
