What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was a healthy 64 year old, exercising regularly, waling while golfing several times a week. I never got covid that could be tested and confirmed but took the vaccine due to public / medical recommendation. Did not get any boosters as later in the year some of the side effect information was coming out.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

After getting the vaccine, I did only had the usual reaction where I had symptoms the day after my 2nd shot in April.

Then about a month later I noticed the ringing in my ears.

Thought they needed a good cleaning which I did, but the tinnitus did not go away.

Some days are worse than others.

I told my doctor about it and he said that at my age maybe I am having hearing decline.

A few months later in 2021 I went to an audiologist to be tested. I tested w/o showing hearing loss.

The audiologist told me to utilize a noise app on my phone to "train my brain" to not pay attention to it.

This I tried but really did not have success, so I have just been putting up with it.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I am just putting up, some days / nights are worse than others.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Phone "noise app" was not helpful Have not tried anything else.

What would you like others to know?

This tinnitus is not due to aging / hearing loss if the symptoms started after the vaccine.
