What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Life was totally normal and routine.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

First neurological symptoms after dose 1 (including a stroke while driving). After dose 2 my symptoms were unmanageable and out of control. I was hospitalized for three weeks. Severe neurological response diagnosed as Susac Syndrome. Brain MRIs, etc. About a year to recover.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Hospital treated me for severe encephalopathy and other neurological symptoms. Suffered multiple strokes. Long term treatment with corticosteroids and IVIG infusions.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Initial hospital was unable to diagnose/treat. Transferred to BWH Boston where they figured it out and treated me.

What would you like others to know?

Don't do it. It's not worth the risk. I wish I had remained unvaccinated. I resent the propaganda, coercion, and lies that moved me to seek vaccination. I am very lucky I had good medical care.
