What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Active, generally good health. I have been diagnosed with CLL leukemia for 9 years it is stable, I have never taken medicine for it's treatment. I am in "watch and wait". I am 65 years old. I am a female. I actively garden, I walk daily, between 40-60+ minutes per day. I live with my husband of 36 years. We have 4 adopted kids. 3 were adopted as babies from S. Korea, and our youngest was adopted at age 13 from the Philippines when I was 56.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Three days after the third shot I had an episode of a racing heart that lasted 15 hours. It subsided. Several days later I had 2 other episodes that lasted around 6 hours. Prior to the racing heart I had the typical fatigue, slight headache, and chills from the vaccine. This occurred after the 2nd shot too, in the Spring. I had no symptoms after the first shot, also in the Spring of 2021.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

A cardiologist put me on Xarelto to thin my blood and prevent stroke. He also prescribed Metropolol Succinate, a beta blocker to reduce heartrate. My resting heartrate is 61. This medicine made me feel like I was dying. I am not taking it now, but he wants me to start Propafenone which is probably just as bad. After many tests, I have nothing wrong with my heart. The racing heart continues randomly. Most doctors discount any relation to the vaccine except one. Interestingly though, all of my doctors have told me to not get another COVID 19 shot. This includes my primary, the cardiologist, and one of my oncologist/hematologist from the University of Michigan.

Which solutions were not helpful?

I feel no medical solution has been helpful. I want to find ways to heal my body, not just address symptoms.

What would you like others to know?

I feel the vaccine by Pfizer causes atrial fibrillation in otherwise healthy individuals. I have no typical conditions related to atrial fibrillation like heart problems, diabetes, obesity. I do not smoke, drink alcohol, or consume caffeine.
