What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

It was fairly good considering I am a 2 time BC survivor. I certainly still had energy and could go about my daily errands and chores. Enjoyed life! 3/5/2021 1st vaccine 3/26/2021 2nd 7/2021 got Covid Sick 5 days 1/6/2022 booster!!!!!!!

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

1/6/2022 booster

Within 24 hours very sick. Couldn’t do anything. Felt tired and just laid around. Hurt all over and a little fever. Had family coming so I had to get up and cook.

1/11/2022 shortness of breath. Each day got worse. By 1/13 family left because I felt so bad. Struggling to breathe. Husband bought O2, vaporizer, vapor rub. Nothing helped. Chest was filling with fluid. Had to prop myself up in bed. When I struggled to bed out of bed on 19th my son said mom are you going to ER now? Yes!! Injection fraction of heart muscle 32%

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Went to ER, gave me lasix! Antibiotics, every test possible. Spent all day in ER. Dr came in and you have CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE! I was shocked! Spent 6 days in hospital with BNP # 2698. Sent home with beta blocker and blood pressure meds. Followed up every 6 weeks. Visit 5/26/2022 BNP was 1571. Down but not good. I doing echo again next week to se if injection fraction improved to at least 35% . That’s what both of my cardiologist want.
