What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Was able to work on my keyboard with both hands and I was able to function without the twitches/spasm on my left side. Now I am unable to type normally and have told my supervisor of the limitation.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Starting in Oct / Nov 2021, I ignored symptoms and hoped that it was related to some kind of muscle pull, but it did not go away like normal muscle issues. My Primary referred me for blood tests, mri and latency test which showed nothing he said. My left hand can't keep up with my right when typing.
Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms
I have only had one visit to a neurologist and have been enrolled in physical therapy for a month with really little to negligible improvement.
Which solutions were not helpful?
None have helped at this time; I have the doctor pushing me toward a Parkinson's diagnosis. She is asking for a few contrasts MRI's which i have delayed due to cost and a Parkinson test.
What would you like others to know?
I don't know who to trust to determine if this is my normal progression of a life issue or its most likely related to the vaccine. I have done the muscle latency test with no issues and one brain MRI with no issues. I don't know what solutions have worked since my left side twitches from hand to foot have started. It's impacting my work and I don't know if my case is severe enough to be a good study for you.
