What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I have had multiple back surgeries and was status quo until receiving the vaccine with first dose around beginning of March and onset of symptoms mid March. 2nd shot around first of April and symptoms worsened within a few days

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Symptoms began about 2 weeks after first vaccine and much worse after second vaccine. The symptoms are different than my “usual”back pain. I get a jolt down my leg and knee buckles. Mostly right leg but also left leg. Workup included ct myelogram and nerve conduction studies. Ct scan was unchanged from prior but NCS were markedly different and much more severe with bilateral severe acute denervation along with radiculopathy. A year later I went to neurology to see if systemic issue. Ct thoracic spine didn’t fit clinical picture. Interestingly the NCS were exactly the same as prior with acute severe bilateral denervation. There was NO trauma or other explanations. Neurosurgeon, neurology and pain management are blaming vaccine. Since receiving vaccine I am cane dependent

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Nothing still have

Which solutions were not helpful?

Nothing. Still as bad as ever

What would you like others to know?

I’m no better.
