What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I'm a retired nurse, living with my husband and dog on a beautiful lake property. I had general good health and no restrictions to what I wanted to or could do. Happy life!

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

In the month following my second Pfizer vaccine I started to have palpitations, never had a heart issue before. I would feel my heart pounding, sense the missing/skipped beats which would also make me feel a bit dizzy. 11 months later I am still experiencing this, seems to be getting worse. I feel chest discomfort and very dizzy. Sometimes my heart rate will drop into the 30's. It feels like there is something heavy on my chest and my breathing seems affected too. I have had 3 Holter monitor tests which does show ventricular extra beats but all other tests come back normal. Stress test and first cardiology meeting next week!

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

A beta blocker, Bisoprolol has helped a bit, but that was reduced because of the slow beats. Magnesium has also seemed to improve things. I just received black seed oil in the mail that I ordered and hope it will be helpful. I rest a lot because I have to! Haven't had much else offered. I am trying to drink more water and keep my thoughts positive, hoping time will heal. Finding other's similar stories and suggestions online has been very helpful when I feel discouraged and hopeless.

What would you like others to know?

You are not alone! It's really hard to be patient, but I believe that time will give us some answers as to why some of us have reacted so badly to the vaccine. Please be supportive and understanding of each other, our families and friends may seem to distance themselves but they don't know what to do with us! We won't always be 'the bad guy' as word gets around and professionals and scientists come on board to acknowledge and join in to help. Family and friends, please be patient with us, we know you can't help, no one seems to be able to, but just stay beside us. Injured peeps, you matter, hang in there!
