What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was awaiting left hip psoas release from a golfing injury 2 years prior. Despite that, I was Healthy person that was exercising 4-5 times a week, having no numbness, tingling, burning, or pain in my arms, fingers, legs, chest, back, and feet.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

A few days after the vaccine, I was still having left arm pain, which lasted longer than the first vaccine injection in my right arm. I started to notice a few days later that I was unable to extend my left arm fully when lifting weights while exercising. Over the next few days I noticed some numbness in my left arm, then the numbness started in my left hip. Originally I thought the numbness was related to the injury that would be resolved with my impending hip surgery, but when I complained about the left thigh numbness and tingling to my Orthopedist, he was concerned and ordered hip and back X-rays and MRI and confirmed the issue was not from my hip. He suggested I see a neurologist. After hip surgery the hip healed through physical therapy but the numbness, tingling, and pain had spread to my upper chest, upper back, right arm and right left. The neurologist ordered blood work, MRI of spine and brain and confirmed I had GBS. Over 8 months the symptoms slowly subsided, but I was only left with some numbness and tingling in my left upper thigh once a week. I was back to being healthy for 6 months and then the pain started again, along with numbness, tingling, pain, and anxiety.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Massage, chiropractor, hyperbaric oxygen chamber, infrared sauna, supplements, AIP diet, low impact exercise. Prednisone for 6 days made me feel amazing but after treatment ended, the symptoms came back but worse than before. I’m trying to allow my body to heal naturally vs through prescriptions that have additional negative side effects.
