What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
I would play golf 2 to 3 times a week, walk 10k steps at least 5 times a week. I was doing speaking engagements . I wrote a book.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
5-25 started with burning in my feet-
5/29 burning and tingling in my wrists
June 6 went to my family doctors and she ran comprehensive blood work and ordered and lumbar MRI
all came back normal
Still had burning but now it spread to my arms, face, legs, butt and shooting nerve pain, especially at night.
I made an appointment at Penn with a neurologist who ordered a cervical MRI, did an EMG. All came out normal except mild carpal tunnel. No explanation other than I have small fiber neuropathy. Doctor told I could manage my symptoms with Lyrica or gabapentin- both I can't take. Sept2019 I also went to long haul covid clinic at U Penn- no help- just wanted to give me drugs

Weekly acupuncture and chiropractor appointment were helpful
Contacted a clinical biochemist who did blood studies and he put me on Glutathione, zinc, d3 and then quercetin. This helped with the shooting nerve pain but I still had the tingling and burning. Eventually it lessened and I was left with tingling and burning mostly on my left side- butt, leg, both feet.
The summer of 2022 I had 6 sessions of prolozone therapy injections in my spine and that helped with the burning in my butt and thigh. Presently I have burning in both feet and claves.
I was then given a comprehensive test for Lyme and 2 titers were very high, The doctor felt the covid reactivated Lyme.
To counteract the Lyme had UV blood infusions and ozone therapy and quercetin IV. Symptoms started to go away however I reacted poorly to infusions and had to stop.

What would you like others to know?
advocate for yourself- read, talk about it. I am lucky to have been able to spend thousands of dollars with alternative doctors. Do not give up! Do not take any more vaccines.
