Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
"I was a normal 31 year old. I work as a dog groomer and loved my job. I was a healthy, and active person. I ate clean and went to the gym 3+ times a week. I would go for long walks with my dog, hangout with friends, was a happy and positive person.
On August 29th I got my first dose of Pfizer. I was feeling the pressure to get jabbed from the media as it was being shoved down my face that without it, I surely would die on a vent in the ER. I wanted to be safe so I got it.
9 days post vaccine, I went to urgent care. I wasn't feeling like myself. Very dizzy, pins and needles in my hands and legs, extreme headache, brain fog, etc. Got a negative covid test.
On September 23rd, I was feeling worse. I went back to urgent care for a follow up appointment and blacked out in the waiting room. I was transported to the hospital by ambulance. I was given a brain scan, chest xray, and blood work. All came back normal. I was discharged with a ""headache.""
That same day I came home and was unable to move. I couldn't get out of bed. I couldn't lift my arms or legs especially on my left side. Vertigo was so intense I felt like I could hardly keep my eyes open. Everything from my face down was numb. My heart was going 100 miles a minute and I was laying down flat with my eyes closed. 4 more days was the next time I was able to get out of bed. Slept 16 hours days and had to fight just to get up to go to the bathroom which was less than 50 feet away.
After 4 days of basically being paralyzed, I was able to get up and start moving around, but it was painful. I have spasms in my legs and arms, my chest hurts to the point where I can't tell if I'm having a heart attack or not. The dizzy spells still are extreme and I can't drive. I missed 3 weeks of work because I couldn't stand longer than 10 minutes without becoming so fatigued and dizzy I needed to sit.
How did I go from the gym and running 3x a week, to barely making it from the couch to the toilet? I lost 21lbs in 2 weeks just from the total loss of appetite.
I genuinely feel like I'm not going to make it to my 32nd birthday at the end of this month. My body is struggling to function every day. My friends, coworkers, and family don't know how to help, and neither do the doctors.
Why did this happen to me? I tried to do the right thing. I tried to protect myself and the ones I loved and instead now I'm in pain, and so are the others around me seeing me like this.
I'm at the point where my quality of life has none left.
My body and my spirit is broken.
I just wanted to do the right thing...
