What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Normal, happy, and healthy. I had no issues what so ever. I was 26 years young. My life in front of me looked endless.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
It started shortly after my two doses of Moderna. I had to get the shots to go on a family trip that involved air travel. I had taken vaccines my whole life so I didn’t think about it much. When I got back from my trip in late January I started having burning and tingling sensations in my hands. It felt like they were on fire every night. I would dunk them in ice then place them on heat and repeat. I had to quit my job that involved typing at a computer because I couldn’t handle the pain. I now have little to no muscle in my hands and feet along with little sensation in those areas as well. I now struggle with hearth palpitations and difficulty breathing and plan to get checked if I have any clots. I’m only 27, my life feels like it’s over and I just hope I can receive some help.
