What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Life prior to the vaccine was wonderful. I was an active, busy, hard-working mom with three beautiful girls. I had just completed my second master's degree and earned my dream job as a high school counselor. My days were filled with work demands, kids' sporting and school events, trips to the mall, family vacations, and running 5K events together. I was 100% healthy, with no medical issues to note other than anxiety and seasonal allergies. I was a proud single mother, grinding every day to provide for my girls and was succeeding in life.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
08/18/2021 - received mandated covid vaccine in order to continue working in the education system. Several hours post vax, I was shocked awake from a dead sleep by excruciating burning pain in my lumbar spine. As if someone was holding a blow torch to my back, I was unable to move my legs, and rolled around in my bed screaming and crying.
08/30/2021 - hospitalized for sudden case of "foot drop" and referred to neurosurgery.
11/ 2021 - 1st lumbar spine surgery
02/2023 - 2nd lumbar spine surgery
08/ 2024 - forced to retire from my career due to ongoing medical issues, and inability to walk from one end of my school building to the other. This is after taking all steps recommended by my pain management providers: steroid back injections, pain pills, and physical therapy.
11/2024, 02/2025, 03/2025, 04/2025 - ER visits for heart pain, neuropathy, severe exhaustion, loss of consciousness.
06/21/2025 - diagnosed with over 15 major medical diagnoses including: spinal stenosis, neuropathy, renal failure, myocarditis, extreme exhaustion, rheumatoid arthritis, and chronic pain syndrome.

SSA Disability: denied my application 3 times, now in the hearing stage of the process.
Florida DHS: denied my application for basic health care.
Vaccine compensation programs: fail to actually assist injured individuals with compensation or medical advice.
VAERS reporting system: provided details of my injury and received no response.
Protections for the pharmaceutical companies responsible for the injuries has prevented class action lawsuits and financial restitution.
US Medical system (doctors, nurses, etc) untrained in vaccine injuries and ongoingly gaslight victims while failing to provide decent medical care.
What would you like others to know?
I was a vibrant, loving mother of three beautiful girls. One vaccine shattered everything—my health, my career, my home, my ability to care for my children. I’ve lost everything. I live with constant pain, grief, and disbelief. I’m not a headline—I’m a human being, begging for answers, for help, and for someone to finally believe me.
