Vaccine Injury Testimonial

Vaccine Injury of Brian Petti

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Before 2021, I was a healthy, active husband, father of two young children, and the owner of a successful web development and technology business. I worked long hours building systems used by schools and companies, supported my family financially, traveled with my wife and kids, and lived a full, independent life.

I exercised, created, planned for the future, and was deeply involved in my children’s daily lives. I had energy, purpose, and stability.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

• 2021: Received COVID-19 vaccination.
• Shortly after: Developed severe and persistent symptoms including profound fatigue, neurological impairment, sleep disruption, tachycardia, chronic pain, and loss of functional capacity.
• Following months: Symptoms did not resolve and progressively disabled me from working, traveling, or caring for my family in the way I previously could.
• Medical course: Extensive evaluations, multiple specialists, medications, therapies, and experimental treatments with limited improvement.
• Current status: Permanently disabled, unable to return to my career, and living with chronic daily symptoms that significantly limit normal life activities.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Supportive medical care from multiple specialists has focused on managing my symptoms rather than restoring my health. Treatments such as ketamine therapy and stellate ganglion block provided partial cognitive improvement but did not lead to recovery. I rely on numerous medications to address chronic pain, neurological dysfunction, sleep disruption, and autoimmune complications, along with ongoing physical and occupational therapy to maintain minimal daily function. Throughout this process, the emotional and practical support of my wife and family has been essential. These interventions have helped me survive, but none have restored my prior health, independence, or ability to return to my life before injury.

Which solutions were not helpful?

• Delayed recognition of the severity and permanence of my condition.
• Lack of clear treatment pathways for post-vaccination or long COVID–type injuries.
• Complex and inaccessible compensation systems with strict deadlines that I could not navigate while cognitively impaired.
• Financial devastation from loss of career, savings, and stability despite clear medical disability.

What would you like others to know?

This injury did not only affect me, it affected my entire family. My children lost the active father they once had.
My wife lost stability and security. Our future changed completely.

I did everything asked of me in good faith. I trusted our government and my physicians. Now my family is living with permanent consequences and little meaningful support.

People living with these injuries need:
• Recognition
• Medical research
• Accessible compensation
• And accountability

Most of all, we need the truth to be seen and our families not to be forgotten.
