What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
I lived in South Florida until November 2022. I was going to college to finish my bachelor's degree at the age of 57. I decided that I needed to move out of Florida. I was tired of the hurricanes. Many employers in Florida did not mandate the vaccine. I knew that I would have a reaction because I have had reactions to other vaccines. I got a job in Colorado at UCHealth which mandated the vaccine. I was not told this until I accepted the position. I applied for an exemption with documentation that I should not take the vaccine. I had hope and passion. I was planning on getting my master’s degree in social work. I loved the outdoors. I was productive. I loved life and to help others. I have lived with mental health issues since 1984 which has made it difficult to be validated. I knew my mental health symptoms and what to do about the symptoms.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Received Vaccine: 11/3/22
Moved to Colorado: 11/8/22
Difficulty Breathing: 11/11/22
Started seeing spider webs and black dots: February 2023
Mental Health started deteriorating April 2023 (but thought it was due to workplace abuse)
June 2023-September 11, 2023: mental health deteriorating, but still thought it was workplace abuse and old trauma.
September 12, 2023: went out on leave: thought I just needed to rest
September 2023: felt like I was losing touch with reality (this never happened)
October 2023: 30 days in hospital (told doctors that health deteriorated after vaccine)
November 2023: 14 days in hospital (told doctors that health deteriorated after vaccine)
January 2024: woke up and could not get out of bed, and started to think it was chronic fatigue syndrome (was diagnosed with CFS in 1983, but doctors considered CFS was mental back then, always dismissed this)
January 2024-March 2024: blood work, medical gaslighting
March 2024: 5 days in hospital
March 2204-May 2024: 45 days in hospital (telling everyone my symptoms are not related to my old mental health issues)
June 2024 – December 2024: started long covid clinic and was dismissed, started occupational therapy

Doing research for myself; advocating for myself; firing health professionals who either are gaslighting me; pacing myself; intermittent fasting; chiropractic care; acupunture; focus on what I can accomplish; finding people like me;
