Vaccine Injury of Courtney Willingham

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

My life was full. I was healthy and had a physical 7 months prior to vaccination. I was working 2 jobs, traveling, spending time with family and just enjoying life despite the pandemic.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I was vaccinated March & April of 2021.
Immediately after vaccination I start experiencing what I thought to be indigestion but it was actually chest pain from inflammation accumulating on my heart. I went 6 months with symptoms that was written off as fatigue, depression and indigestion. In October of 2021 I went to the emergency with severe shortness of breath. They discovered fluid in my heart sac. I had emergency heart surgery to install a drain and remained in the hospital for over a week as fluid drained off. I was diagnosed with pericarditis which the FDA has named as a direct side effect of the covid vaccine. Two years later I still have a considerable amount of inflammation left, I have not returned to work and this has been the most mentally and emotionally draining thing that has ever happen to me.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

Finding a doctor that listens and will run adequate testing to track progress.

Which solutions were not helpful?

Doctors that refuse to listen to me.

What would you like others to know?

That even though the covid vaccine may have temporarily derailed your life, don’t allow it to consume you.
