What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Before the vaccine I had lost 100 lbs and had kept it off almost 2 yrs. I had a clean bill of health, my chest was clear my heart was good, I had a full time job and I had a healthy 6 yrs old who was also happy. I made 6 figures and was actually dating for the first time in yrs. I coached my sons basketball I was on the basketball board, I coached t-ball all was good.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Came in contact March 5, 2020 with Covid at a Pub. Went out for my birthday.
March 9, 2020 woke up with headache and felt like glass was in my throat
May 5, 2020 went for a walk with son and realized I couldn’t go 10 yrs without struggling to breath.
May , 2020 my anxiety was out of control but I was still working.
April 6, 2021 got the first Pfizer shot, had a fever of 103 a week later started to struggle to get out of a chair
April 25, 2021 got second shot they had to use a wheelchair to bring me in for shot. Had a fever of 104.9 couldn’t move for 8 hrs. A week or so later I could no longer get out of a char normal and my legs stopped fouling properly could not go up steps.
Started to struggle at work, confusion, brain fog , couldn’t remember tasks, crying in meetings.
June 2021 went on Short Term Disability
Jan 2022 was asked to resign
May 2023 ran out of money
Oct 2024 Landlord took me to court for eviction, I won because I filled out rental assistance papers that he refused to fill out his part. He raised rent so I had to move
May 2024 got disability after 4 applications for arthritis, lawyers took 25% of my back pay.

What would you like others to know?
Covid literally destroyed my son’s life and mine, I’m still struggling to keep my head above water.
I worked since I was 13, worked when I was sick, working was never an issue for me. The govt let us down I had no support as a single mother. I worked since 35 yrs paying into the system for what to be left standing in food pantry lines begging for money to pay bills being abused by landlord living in constant fear, my child’s anxiety is off the charts!
But hey it’s just like the flu, and I should stop eating all my problems would go away if I lost weight.
