Dayna Willoughby

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I had some long terms of symptoms of generalized anxiety. Physically very healthy, albeit gluten tolerance.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Evening of first dose I noticed that my ears were ringing. Tinnitus continued from that first night until this very day. Relatively mild, it is nevertheless always present when awake. Also, though, it is associated with tension around my ears and occipital area that have also continued until this day.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I have been advised that neurofeedback protocols developed by Dr. De Ridder, a world renowned expert on tinnitus, might help. For financial reasons, I haven’t yet participated in the treatment.

Which solutions were not helpful?

low dose naltrexone helped me recover my energy post-Covid but had no effect on tinnitus. -nothing related to overall immune system strengthening has had any effect on tinnitus, nor have any anti-inflammatories like curcumin taken daily.

What would you like others to know?

They aren’t alone. Many have it worse so my heart goes out to them. It would be good to research whether the neurofeedback approach can work.
