What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was an active 24 year old, at a healthy weight, working out frequently and living a normal/healthy life.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I received the first dose of the Pfizer COVID Vaccine on the 26th of April, 2021.

A few days after the fact, I ended up feeling a variety of palpitations/heart racing and ended up visiting a cardiologist.

I previously had no cardiac symptoms prior to this (and had already had a bout of Covid in November of 2020). Following the cardiologist visit, I was admitted to a hospital and was informed that my ejection fraction stood at a 35 and that I had been diagnosed with congestive heart failure via a cardiomyopathy. This caused my life to essentially fall apart/change permanently. For the past 4 years I've been taking a variety of medications to maintain my ejection fraction that is now at 55% and for the most part, I’m mainly asymptomatic.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I have been taking Entresto, Carvedilol, Eplerenone, and limiting my alcohol and salt intake for the past 4 years.

Which solutions were not helpful?

No one can help me. Had I known there were no legal protections in case something went wrong, I would not have taken the vaccine.

What would you like others to know?

The issue is although doctors tell me it can be assumed that this may have been a negative cardiac reaction, it is their place (or incentive I can imagine) to definitely define my heart issue as stemming from the Covid vaccine, which I think it is. I was a perfectly healthy 24 year old man who was in shape prior to taking the shot. My family and I have no history of cardiac issues. Genetic testing came back negative. One cardiologist said that I had noncompaction, one said I did not. I want to know if there’s any case or financial compensation I can have against Pfizer. Every law firm I’ve approached has declined me and I worry I am past the statute of limitations.
