What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

active, healthy, and athletic. I was training for my 3rd marathon, walking my dogs several miles a day, lifting weights and swimming, going fishing and camping...life was fun!

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I experienced immediate, severe, flu like symptoms that lasted for about 36 hours after my shot. there was immediate hormonal disregulation: crazy, extreme, almost non-stop hot flashes, chills, musculoskeletal pain, especially in my lower back. insomnia. extreme mood swings, including intense, frightening rage. the worst cold sore I've ever experienced appeared on my nose (I had never had a cold sore there before) within days of being vaccinated. weird, low rumbling tinnitus and a sloshy liquid sound in my right ear. mild persistent nausea. over the next six months, the musculoskeletal pain got worse and worse, eventually becomimg debilitating "sciatica", or so it was labelled. I lost the ability to walk for several months. my platelet count dropped precipitously after vaccination - I'm still trying to get my count up to the normal range. the most challenging and scary symptom has been the extreme fatigue I've endured for two years. I don't go out any more. I can barely exercise. it's hard to cook dinner some nights. I'm lonely as hell, living in portland oregon, where I have yet to meet a single person who believes these vaccine injuries are happening.

unfortunately, my previously healthy sister in california is seriously injured (it looks like M.S. but no one in the medical establishment will take her seriously) so I am not the only person I know that sees the human tragedy that's unfolding right in front of us. I'm thankful I have a sister to talk to, but I'm terrified for her. I don't know if she'll survive. I will. I SHALL. and when I get better, I will give more of my energy to this movement.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

the FLCCC first line protocol helped. the tinnitus is finally resolved. musculoskeletal pain has been reduced about 30%. insomnia and nausea have greatly improved.

hormonal replacement has helped with body temperature issues. hot flashes are mostly resolved.

meditating, self-inquiry, trauma release techniques, reading spiritual books and books about the mind body connection to disease have helped tremendously with the anger, sadness, and fear.

deep breathing for at least 30 minutes as soon as I wake up seems to reduce the swelling in my head, and helps me overcome fatigue enough that I actually want to get up and start my day.

daily yin yoga keeps my hips from tightening up to the point where I can't walk.

a little known passive physical therapy called "counterstrain" has been the single most helpful solution for my physical pain, lack of mobility, head and spinal swelling, lymphatic flow, and mood. I strongly recommend this treatment to anyone who can find - and afford - a practitioner. it has made my life bearable, and gives me more hope for recovery than anything else so far.

Which solutions were not helpful?

chiropractic adjustments, physical therapy exercises, an oncologist suggesting I need to exercise more, ha ha.

very few solutions have been presented by the many doctors I've see, to be honest.

What would you like others to know?

I'd really like others to know about "counterstrain" physical therapy, since it has helped, and continues to help, so much.
