I am sharing on behalf of my mom. She took the 1st dose of Moderna out of fear of job loss (she works in HR in a hospital) coupled with family pressure concerned about finances if she were to lose her job. After about one week she started experiencing strong heart palpitations, chest pressure and tightness and a racing heart. It has gotten worse and more steady, especially when exerting energy such as up and down stairs. So far she had one doctor appointment which they verified was a vaccine injury and put her on metoprolol. It does not seem to be doing anything. She had an EKG yesterday but she doesn't anticipate it will reveal anything as it lasted about 10 seconds. She is now concerned about finances as of course she will have these medical bills to pay and is awaiting the verdict on if the hospital will fire her for NOT getting the second shot. We are desperate for help as to how to treat this heart condition. She is 61. Any help or people in a similar situation would be so helpful to connect with.
