I have reacted in the past to flu vaccines so once I was not working in the hospital, I stopped getting them. About 5 hours after I got the Johnson vaccine I developed a fever of 101.6 for twelve hours. In the middle of the fever stage, I had excruciating pain in sites where I had previously been injured or had surgery. I fractured my left wrist years ago and had vice like pain, my abdominal area from 2 C sections was painful and ""on fire"", my right shoulder/tendon release surgery again vice like pain and the bottoms of both feet felt like they had been beaten with a bamboo rod. The extreme pain only lasted about 1 1/2 hours. I made sure I took extra strength Tylenol q4hrs. My feet are slightly numb and tingling.
