Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

"8/22/21

Thank you so much for a platform to share vax reactions. My daughter, Emma, received her first vaccine at the beginning of April. She passed out afterwards. I shouldn't have let her go back to get her second one. After her second dose in late April, she became extremely aggressive. Her pupils were narrowing. She had severe mood swings. In early June, she went up to a camp in Prescott. I got a call from the director that she had been taken by ambulance to the ER. When I got there, she was in the corner coloring. I had just watched her give a valedictorian speech to her high school class a week earlier. Now she was in tears because she couldn't color in the lines of a coloring book. She told me it was 2018, she was getting married in a couple of hours, and that the heart monitoring tape they had on her chest was from a lie detector test. She was wearing her mask over her eyes instead of using it as a mouth covering. She was extremely sensitive to light. All her blood tests came back normal and a cat scan came back normal. The doctor recommended that she be hospitalized. She stayed at a behavioral health facility for 2 weeks. I couldn't visit her because of Covid restrictions. I couldn't get in touch with a doctor until the day before she was released I had no idea what was going on with her for two weeks. When they released her, they had no idea what to diagnose her with, so they said it was an undiagnosed psychotic edpisode. When I brought her home, she was on 4 different medications. She stayed in her bed most of the time, just staring at the wall. Her whole body was shaking. She couldn't even pour herself a drink. We had to wrap her up in a blanket the way you would wrap a newborn, so her shaking arms and legs would stop. I slowly took her off the meds they had prescribed her. They were making her drool. When we went to her primary care doctor, she prescribed Flouxetine. After a week of being on Flouxetine, she was pretty much normal again. It was like watching a newborn grow up in a week's time. I don't know if Flouxetine would work for everyone, but I wanted to let people know, this worked for her, and it worked in a week's time! She took the Flouxetine for a few more weeks and then she decided to stop taking it. She's doing great! We are waiting for a neurologist appointment, just to make sure everything is ok.
