I was a very healthy 65, having been an athlete most of my life, eating very healthy, appearing many years younger than my age. Soon after getting the first Covid vaccination, I acquired Bells Palsey, on the right side of my face. Eight or nine months later, before the terrible symptoms were gone, I had another bout of the same illness on the left side of my face.

My face looked like it was melting, terrible pain in the nerve below my ear where the facial nerve comes through, my smile is now impossible, my nostrils close down sleeping on my side, making it hard to sleep, very hard to eat, constantly biting my lips, cheeks, leaving the inside of my mouth a scarred bloody mess. Food and liquid leaks from the corners of my mouth, facial numbness that never goes away, my eyes are now always a mess with eyelashes growing the wrong direction causing problems with normal vision, and abnormal tearing issues, having to always wash out my eyes, facial muscles twitch constantly, I have headaches more frequently that I never had an issue with before, the resultant depression with the changes I have endured, my face is forever crooked, ( if you draw a straight vertical line from middle forehead to middle of chin, my nose and lips are totally asymetrical now).

Doctors are clueless about this illness, and neurologists ignore me. I have been unsuccessful even getting Doctors to return my calls, even one who I saw before for carpal tunnel syndrome issues!!
