It was great. I was in great shape, worked 50-60 hours a week, rode a bike 10 miles a day, volunteered 10-20 hours a week, fished alot and supported my family.

I think I had COVID at the beginning of 2020 before testing was done. I worked with someone whos spouse returned from a work trip at Wuhan. Nothing serious. I was told it was bronchitis. I was fatigued for about three months. Then I got the shingles vaccine toward the end of the year-no big deal. Feeling pretty good and losing weight. Reduced my cholesterol through diet and got my first Pfizer shot at the beginning of March. I experienced intense inflammation and fatigue like never before. I asked a friend and a doctor, they said it was normal. Started sleeping more, worn out, but powered through it. Struggled to keep in an excercise routine and maintain work but did it. My volunteer hours started taking a hit because of fatigue and cognitive decline. In October 2021 I had a physical, that was great, and leet the doc talk me into getting a flu shot and pneumonia shot at the same time. Within 3 days I was admitted to the hospital with Myocarditis/Pericardits. They listed the cause as unknown. I responded well to cardiopulmonary therapy but the fatigue and mental decline would not go away. This has been a steady decline since. I also contracted COVID in 2022 and again in 2024. Other symptoms fatigue and brain fog intensified along with joint pain and inflammation in all joints, food intolerance, light sensitivity in my eyes, vein issues, gastro issues, burning pain in my back, heart palpitations, dizziness, cold and painful hands and feet, cognitive issues etc. Doctors could not figure it out. At one point blood tests indicated, Sjogrens, Lupus, and Hashimotos, without a defenitive diagnosis. I was referred to rheumatolgy and they said it was Osteo Arthritis, Hashimotos, and carpal tunnel. Other specialist denied those issues. I lost my job in Jan. 2025. The time getting into Doctors increased. I was finally referred to the local Long Covid Clinic. We went over my history. He stated it could be from the shots but he can't treat that. A lot of the same issues with Long Covid and the shot. I possibly have EDS type IV, ME/CFS, POTS, Fibromyagia, MCAD, and autoimmune overlap. No use doing anymore testing as he doesn't have a treatment for any of them. When one symptom gets better others get worse.
I have been told in the past I may have a low level immune issue but it never caused real issues. I also overcame Asthma. My family has a history of EDS type IV issues (aortic aneurysm and club feet), and I had some of they symptoms as a child (translucent skin, loose joints, and visible veins). I seemed to grow out of it. A genetic test shows a undetermined Collagen III mutation. I am currently on Medicaid and at risk of losing my home.

The Long Covid Doc has me on Hydroxychloroquine and LDN, while my Primary has me on famotidine, and gabapentin. I also have to pace eat an AIP diet. I am only productive 20 hours a week or I crash. Sometimes I can't do that. Also supplements like Vitamin D C and B, Ivermectin, nattokinase, quercetin, Methylene Blue, testosterone booster, and aspirin help. Church helps the most. My wrists are hurting typing this and I am starting to crash. I know I have missed things. My opinion based off of my experience is my health has been declining since the first Pfizer shot. That time and prayer will fix it.

Going down rabbit holes like treating carpal tunnel that doesn't exist, amlodipine for Raynauds, excercise, counseling, prednisone, ignoring it chloresterol meds, xiidra for light sensitivity, baths for joint pain( helped the joints but made heart pound), sleeping 12 hours a day, and many doctors.
