What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?
Very good. Very active with 4 children and their activities and sports. Enjoyed hiking and outdoor activities. Was a project manager in R&D for a large company.
Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.
Day 0 - Got J7J vaccine
Day 7 - Terrible headaches. Pain in jaw. Felt like sinus infection.
Day14 - Headaches continued, terrible pain in low back, pain started moving down back of both legs
Day21 - Weakness and pain continued down both legs and began in both arms
Day 28 - Pain nearly intolerable, could not move/lift legs, went to ER. Was given some pain meds and released.
In the coming months I got into a neurologist. Had EMG and NCS tests. Diagnosed with Guillian-Barre. Not given any other treatments.
I have made some recovery but still struggle with whole body nerve pain, fatigue, numbness, brain fog.

Found a DMO Dr. in town that was able to listen and explain what was going on with my body.
