Being a veteran and part of the VA, I received notification of location, date and time for my first and second Covid19 shots.
Having already seeing some of my friends pass away or sick from Covid, I decided to take the shots offered from the VA.
I do state that it was my choice to accept the Covid19 Moderna shots as I was not on active military duty at that time - VA dates for shots taken were Feb/Mar 2021
Although I do not recall any real problem at the time I got the covid shots, one month after my second shot I felt pain the my shoulder, knee and finger joints, and also noticing more difficulty doing my normal gym routine exercises due to loss of mussel tone and weakness.
By July 2021, I had a partial tear of my right quad tendon which required surgery to repair.
Over the next 5 yrs I lived with the joint pain, lack of strength and on Jan 8, 2024 I had a Heart Attack which required a stent in surgery.
The pain in my right knee became worse which lead to a right knee replacement in June 2025
Although I did not have Covid I, like so many other people at that time had to live through the shutdowns and staying at home rules.
It was very interesting reading the article in the July 26th Lancaster, Pa newspaper (Push to cover ills from vaccine backed by Rep Lloyd Smucker) about Chris Dreisbach and his problems from taking the Covid vaccine as well as the existing problems with the Covid shots.
As part of the above article, there is reference to the React19 group, and after reading some of their Covid19 vaccine injury testimonials, I feel like I am one of the lucky ones at my age.
I am still able to maintain my gym schedule of three times a week for RDM class and various exercise machines.
At one time I was told by a friend that I have Covid Clots In my blood - I know I must have something in me.
I have told myself I will never take another shot for a disease and am now sorry that I took the two Covid shots, and feel so bad for those who were let go from the Military and Employment because of not taking shots!
I am not seeking reimbursing costs, just want to express my feelings the way our Gov’t and Fauci encouraged and/or required the Covid shots, and the existing problems that continue today for me and probably many others
