Vaccine Injury Testimonial

Vaccine Injury of Karen Stack

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was a healthy 54 year old woman with no health issues other than high cholesterol

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

I received my first and only Moderna vaccine on August 4th, 2021. On August 5th I felt pretty bad, but I expected a little discomfort so I didn’t worry about it. On August 6th I felt pretty bad and stayed in bed all day. On August 7th, still I still felt bad. Around 5:30 in the evening the left side of my face started to go numb and I was afraid that I was having a stroke. My son took me to the er where I was admitted because I had a fever. They ran all of their tests and couldn’t find anything wrong with me. My blood pressure was 163 over 104. I’ve had perfect blood pressure my entire life. The numbness and tingling in my face lasted for about 4 months and then disappeared, but then I started having tingling in my breasts. I went to 5 different medical professionals, the last being a specialist and not one could give me a diagnosis. I gave up on the medical community and have lived with this tingling ever since. I recently heard an NPR story about vagus nerve stimulation and how they were using it to treat epilepsy and depression and at the end of the story they were talking about looking into the possibility of using it for the treatment of long COVID. I thought that since maybe it could help with long COVID, maybe it could help people with vaccine injuries. It’s experimental at this point, but for the first time since I was injured that I thought maybe it could cure me. The treatments are very expensive and only in Long Island, New York so going there myself is not a possibility, but maybe it can help others. I think it’s worth a try as nothing else has worked. My symptoms are mild compared to others, but maddening still the same and my symptoms line up with vagus nerve damage. I would love to talk to someone about this because it’s the only hopeful treatment that might actually work. I think it’s worth a try, as every other treatment has not helped. Would someone be able to talk to me about this?
