Vaccine Injury of Kimberly Quattlebaum Entzminger

Before the vaccine, life was great. I was planning to start working on my PhD in June 2021, I had one grandchild, a son in high school, and was living my life as a Literacy Coach, wife, mom, and grandma. I had some seasonal allergy issues, but rarely, if ever used an inhaler. I was active and healthy. I had epipens for a bee sting allergy.

April 8, 2021, I received the Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. That evening, I had a bad headache and rash. I took a large dose of Zyrtec and Benadryl.
April 9, 2021 -rash was spreading, headache was worse, I was very congested and had to use a rescue inhaler for wheezing. I took more Zyrtec and Benadryl. I planned to reach out to the allergist
April 10, 2021 - rash was all over my fact, chest, and arms, headache worse, coughing, congested, felt terrible, took more allergy medicine, and looked online at reactions, saw where it said rash should fade after 48 hours
April 11, 2021 - woke up wheezing, coughing, covered in rash, including in my mouth, nose, and took more medication, went to the ER, given steroids, allergy medication, prescriptions, sent home to follow up with allergy doctor
April 12, 2021-April 13, 2021 - did not get significantly worse, but did not get better, contacted allergist office (they reopened on April 13), took medication and Benadryl, used inhaler, took extra Zyrtec, spoke to allergy office, they had reopened after a week and half closure and said they would call back and get me in to see the doctor
April 14, 2021 - work up with rash covering my body, felt like I was on fire, wheezing, face swollen, struggling to breath, went to the ER and was admitted overnight after multiple injections of epinephrine and steroids, but kept rebounding, admitted, rebounded with rash increasing, wheezing, swelling of face and mouth, moved to the PCU for closer monitoring, doubled or tripled steroids and antihistamines, seemed to improve, sent home with medications (steroids, antihistamines, albuterol and Budesinide for nebulizer) had an appointment to see the allergist.
April 15 - May 5, 2021 - massive amounts of medication, had to have a spreadsheet to keep up with it, could not drive, constant wheezing, coughing, difficulty thinking, legs and grip weakness, I would just drop things or step and my legs would give away. What was due to medication and what was due to reaction I am not sure. As steroid taper decreased my dose, symptoms increased again, finally the doctor recommended that I be hospitalized for 7-10 days and take massive doses of steroids (close to 400 mg per day), blood thinners, breathing treatments every 4 hours, consult with pulmonologists, rheumatologists, neurologist, to see if we were missing something. Allergist stated that he had never seen anything like this and couldn't find anything in the literature like it. The consults did not find any underlying issue, confirmed a severe long lasting reaction to the vaccine.
For the last 4 years I have continued to struggle. I have developed a massive number of new allergies, react constantly, have had to go to the ER for allergic reactions, and continue to suffer. It took 3 years and 3 rounds of full body detox before the brain fog started to clear. I still have to take high doses of Allegra, use an inhaler and allergy nasal spray daily, and carry a nebulizer and medication with me everywhere I go. I develop a rash in the sun, can't be home when my grass is cut, can't go see my grandson play soccer, my life is still dominated by ridiculous allergic reactions to all kinds of things. My doctor believes this triggered an inflammatory response that has sent my allergic response and immune system haywire.

This has taken my freedom from me and completely dictates my life activities. Being treated like I was making things up, have anxiety, or that this could not possibly be related has made this even worse. I had to fight in the hospital and threaten to leave before the attending, who had changed my medication and not put epinephrine on my chart without my knowledge or permission, to finally do what the allergist had stated needed to be done. It was so frustrating. I was out of work until August 9th, 2021 and the first 2 years after that often had to work from home, if I could work at all. It has been more than 4 years, and my file in still "in que" for medical review with the CICP, which "lost" my files twice. The second time I uploaded, I took screenshots showing my documentation. When I received the letter stating my case was being dismissed because I hadn't turned in my documentation, I tried to email, call, sent them the screenshots, and got nowhere. I contacted Senator Tim Scott's office and after they inquired on my behalf, I received a message that they had made a mistake, and say that I had submitted my documentation. That was more than a year ago and it is still "in que" for medical review. I will NEVER take another vaccine and feel betrayed and abused by the government agencies my tax dollars support, agencies that are supposed to give us good information for informed consent and ensure our safety. That clearly wasn't done.
