Active life, working and enjoying vacations with children. Enjoying time with grandchildren. Looking forward to continuing my career and eventually retiring with my husband. We loved to go to the ocean/coast.

Immediately after vaccine - severe headaches for two months. Then huge spike in blood pressure - averaging over 220/180. Went to doctor for BP drugs. Then wheezing for 2 years; tight chest. Developed severe sleep apnea. Gradual muscle tightening and spasms in legs, back but I ignored and blamed it on sitting. Eventually woke up unable to walk due to muscle spasms in my legs and psoas muscles. Then gaslit for over 18 months by over 8 doctors - eventually self diagnosed myself with Stiff Person Syndrome thanks to Celine Dion. Neurological Autoimmune disease. Had two extreme full body spasms including chest spasms that sent me to hospital. Although it took almost 2 years to fully be injured I feel I would never have gotten SPS if I hadn't taken the COVID-19 vax which was by far the worst decision I have ever made.

If you have severe muscle spasms ask for the GAD-65 blood test if positive; get to a specialist ASAP. Treatment is IVIg (you have to fight for it); diazepam, keppra, etc. I did follow some of the COVID FLCCC protocol as soon as it was available-NAC, Vit D, Magnesium, etc starting in 2021. I kept a symptom diary which helped a lot as I had to convince doctors it wasn't mental. Try and find someone who will be open to running tests and not shut you down.

Doctors by and large are unhelpful but necessary so take good notes; be organized; try not to get discouraged; they cause a lot of anxiety. I have been told so many ridiculous things they don't deserve to be repeated. But the condition is not anxiety caused. It is a biological immune response to a vaccine that is causing havoc.

I did not report to VERS; I believe I am one of those who were injured without immediate severe symptoms. I feel there are probably millions of us. SPS is a rare disease they say but I do not believe it; autoimmune and neurologic - the COVID Vax's magic bullet. I just want people to be aware to ask for the GAD 65 blood test. 80% of positives are SPS but some SPS does not have GAD 65 antibodies. I know this will shorten my life and it already has diminished the quality of my life. But we must march on. I am so humbled by the courageous stories. Stay strong.
