What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

Worked at a facility I loved, was in college to get a higher degree, I was very outgoing and social. I have two kids I would do things with everyday after work or plan big adventures on my days off. I've had migraines since I was 16 and had multiple knee surgerys from a bad basketball injury. But it never stopped me from doing anything and if it did it was only for a couple hours. Now I have daily symptoms that keep me from doing things I used to love let alone even the things I need to do like work, take care of the kids or the house.

Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

Within 20 minutes of getting the vaccine I felt dizzy and very hot from head to toe. As the days progressed I continued to have dizziness then I had nausea, headaches, swelling in my arm and legs, high blood pressure and then chest pains all within weeks. I was told I had "myocarditis" and blood work showed above normal d-dimer which is blood clots. I was sent to specialist but while waiting I was in and out of the hospital a half dozen times. I've been put on and taken off meds only to be put on something different by a different specialist. A little over 3 months ago it took a turn for the worse when I had a mild stroke with no lasting deficit. The CT showed bilateral tears in my neck most likely from the high blood pressure. I'm now waiting to follow up with yet more specialist after having yet more test. Since having the stroke I am increasingly more tired, the nausea is worse and I've had a loss of appetite.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

I felt better when they had me on prednisone. I take hot showers to help with the headache which really feels like a brain freeze. I drink hot teas to help settle my stomach or if nothing is helping I lay down.

Which solutions were not helpful?

When they put me on Plavix I hurt, so I feel likethat added to the problems.
