Describe the symptoms and the timeline of the reaction.

"8/23/21

I received the 1 shot J&J vaccine in late July. I chose the one shot because I hate shots and felt strongly that I wouldn't go back for the 2nd one.

I did it because I am 56 and I live in a retirement community and I am very social. However, I still work and I hsve been exposed 5 times. I did not want to take the chance of getting covid and possibly spreading it here in the community where I live.. I agonized over the decision for 3 months and just up and got it one day. I have never tested positive or had symptoms of covid even after the repeated exposures. However in October of 2019 I became very ill with something that antibiotics did not work on and I had symptoms of covid but at that time no one knew what covid was. I was sick for 8 weeks.

Since receiving the shot I have episodes of tachycardia when sitting with no physical activity . I have had panic attacks before but this is not what it is because my brain is not foggy and I am not in the mode I am normally in during a panic attack. It has been so bad at times I thought I might be having a heart attack.

I regret my decision as the episodes are frightening and needless to say inconvenient.

If they say a booster is required for the J&J vaccine they can kick rocks because I will not get another shot.

Do not let yourself be guilted or pressured into getting vaccinated. You end result could be like many of the people that have posted on here. I am sure the majority of people on here would give a big fat NO to doing it again.

I conformed to shut people up. I will never do that again.
