Vaccine Injury Testimonial

Vaccine Injury of Paige Smith

What was your life like before you received the COVID-19 vaccine?

I was an active mother of 4 beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 girl. I was an active runner with my German Shepard and a stay-at-home mom who was looking to going back to work. I was a chef. I used to stay up late with my husband enjoying movies, going out to eat, traveling and always making my family my #1.

Describe the solutions that helped your symptoms

It was April of 2021 and I decided to get the vaccine despite my husband not wanting me to, he was a Marine vet who had his fair share of vaccines. I wanted to eventually go back to work and with what we were all told about the vaccine I believed society and our government. It was 2 weeks before Mother's Day and I went in to get the shot. I had minimal side effects the day of. Two weeks 2 the day was Mother's day and my daughter and I went for a pedicure in the morning. later that day I had unbelievable burning, numbness indescribable pain in my left foot. I figured I was having a reaction to the scrub from the pedicure. Needless to say it traveled up my whole left side of my body in a matter of hours. It was pain i had never felt before. I could also not stand sound, touch and i just needed to be left alone in a dark room. I went to the doctors, and they believed I had MS. I mad an MRI that supposably conformed it. WHAT??? Get some steroids and you will feel better. No, I did not feel better. I had trouble walking, the pain was still so severe I could not even talk to my parents on the phone. I isolated myself from the world. My children did not know what was going on. they wanted to play tag; they wanted to cuddle on the couch I could not. "Paige, you have MS and need to take this drug." You will never run again; you will have cognitive decline but take self-inject this drug because you have MS. I asked to talk to anyone, someone who would speak to my husband and myself about the vaccine and the team in Boston shunned us. I had to believe them, this was Mass Genral, Brigham and Women, the best of the best. I was confused, I was exhausted, I was sad, depressed, I did not know how this could happen to me. I did what they asked and struggle with dysphasia, I am always tired, my legs don't work like they used to. I am no longer the mother and wife I use to be. I struggle every day with so much. This was life altering and I am still trying to figure it out.

Which solutions were not helpful?

No one was willing to talk to me about what I felt, what I was going through except the ones I love. I do not believe I have MS. I believe I got Covid sick
