Dec 2020 went to Florida to spend winter had hard time finding anywhere to get the vaccine finally in February we where able to go back to Indiana to get first shot of Moderna d then we drove back to Florida 1 month later we drove back to Indiana. My wife and I both got shots for me I was having pains in right side headaches for 2 days sore arm , wife mostly light headache and sore arm . Here’s my great story after staying away from everyone one until we got those shots all holidays away fro kids also . Tuesday August 9 2021 we flew to Houston to visit 87 year old Aunt with cancer. Within 10 hours of arrival we went to a get together of cousin senior friends 62-83 years old. They meet every Tuesday. We ate had our conversation all of us around a table having a good time . Next morning one of the ladies called to say she just tested POSITIVE for COVID. Never the less of course I was mad I spend over a year doing things right and I walk into this situation. So Saturday morning Aug 12 we all test for Covid a little early I think but we had to we felt. All 6 of us where negative. I will text again before we fly out Tuesday. For the little side effects we had j probably just saved my 87 year old Aunt with lung cancer life!! Plus who knows countless more . 3 of us got Moderna 3 got Pfizer. We are all glad we did . By the way I didn’t know but the lady who was positive was UNVACCINATED We dodge a bullet
