I received the first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine on February 5th, 2021. That same week I developed tinnitus and have had it for the past 5 months. I saw my PCP twice and she referred me to an ENT. I had to wait three months to get an appointment One of the first questions the ENT Doc' asked me was ""When did you develop tinnitus?"" The second question was ""When did you get the vaccine?"" It was in that moment that I made the correlation. I did some online research and found this page. I'm still glad I took the vaccine, but feel I should be compensated for the irreparable damage. I have lost a percentage of hearing in the affected ear as diagnosed by an audiologist. None of the doctors have been able to say if this ringing sound will ever go away.
